Tag Day is one of our marching band's most beloved - and most important - traditions. The name comes from historical roots, when students gave neighbors a paper "tag" to thank donors for their support. Today, we reach our supporters by visiting their neighborhoods, sending them snail mail and sharing social media posts.
Funds raised on Tag Day support all James River High School Band programs - including the Regiment, Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Rapid Winterguard and Rapid Indoor Percussion - through the Band Boosters.
