Derrick was a proud alumnus of the Apopka Blue Darter Band and Colorguard, where he dedicated much of his time and passion to the performing arts. He continued that passion at Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where he performed with the university's Colorguard and was a proud member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a national music fraternity.
In honor of Derrick and the impact these programs had on both him and the Notice family, they kindly request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Apopka High School Colorguard.
One hundred percent of all donations will go directly to supporting the Apopka high School Colorguard program, helping future students experience the same opportunities that meant so much to Derrick.
